YORK - The York, Wells-Ogunquit Reorganization Planning Committee will meet in the weeks ahead to continue its work on the requirements of the state's school consolidation law.
The next meeting of the committee is scheduled for Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at the York Middle School Library, with a second meeting scheduled for Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Wells Superintendent of Schools Office.
Ultimately, voters in each community will decide at public elections to be scheduled this spring as to whether the three towns should join together into one consolidated school district.
